GAL SOUTH IS BARESE
The South East Barese LAG was set up in 2010 with the aim of implementing a Local Development Strategy within the 2007-2013 community programming. Over the years, important results have been achieved in aid to the rural economy (agritourisms, educational farms, social farms, landlords, crafts and small businesses), enhancement of the territory (tourist itineraries) and strengthening of human capital (study visits and workshop). Starting from the 2014-2020 community programming, thanks to the choice of the Puglia Region to finance the Participatory Local Development (SLTP) through multi-fund strategies, the LAG has defined a Strategy based both on the opportunities coming from the EAFRD Fund (European Agricultural Fund for Rural Development) and those of the EMFF Fund (European Maritime Activities Fund for Fisheries).
