Puglia Local Action Groups
The local action group (or simply LAG) is a group (generally a consortium company) composed of public and private entities with the aim of favoring the local development of a rural area through Structural Funds. The LAGs elaborate the local action plan (LAP; also called local development plan - PSL - or local development strategy - OSH - according to the defining preferences of the regional planning and standardization acts) and manage the financial contributions disbursed by the European Union and the European Agricultural Fund for Rural Development (EAFRD, heir to the "Guidance" section of the previous EAGGF fund).
